Hi I’m Abbie and I have decided to blog about my experiences through a health, fitness and wellbeing transformation!

When I turned 50 last year, I decided it was time to take control of my health, wellbeing and therefore my future. With potentially 15 years of career left, I wanted to make sure that I am in the best shape I can be and don’t burn out.

I made a few changes to my lifestyle but I still wasn’t feeling my best so, in March 2024, I signed up for a 16 week health and fitness coaching programme which changed my life! I’ve lost weight, I’m stronger, fitter, less stressed and generally feel more able to cope with what ever life throws at me. Post-coaching I have decided that I want to continue to minimise the amount of alcohol I consume so that I can continue to feel fit and healthy. As such, I’m embarking on a “One Year No Beer” challenge which will likely be the focus of my blog for the next few months.
